Format
The race consists of eight rounds, each with a 1 km run followed by a functional exercise. The functional exercises include the farmer's carry, weighted lunge, burpee broad jump, SkiErg, sled push, sled pull, rowing, and sandbag lunges.
Race categories
There are four different categories: Open, Pro, Doubles, and Team Relay.
Race venue
HYROX races are held in large indoor arenas, creating a stadium-like atmosphere.
Race time
The average race time is about 90 minutes, but elite racers can finish in under an hour.
